CLUBHOUSE OPENING - at last!
What an achievement for the Club. After 15 months of planning, raising money and eventually building the clubhouse ourselves, members now have a clubhouse which will become the focal point for our activities.
Our local MP, Robert Courts, gave an encouraging speech and was very complimentary about the community spirit of the club. David Mitchell, the son of Jennet Blake, the founder of the Club and our principal donor, attended and said he was proud of his mother's contribution.
Over 40 members and partners attended and enjoyed giving some lessons to newcomers.
