GC played their second League Match of the season yesterday v Winslow. This friendly club faced our strongest team, and lost Eynsham 8 - 0 Winslow.
This was the first 8 - 0 that the club has achieved in my time playing here. Well done all.

Neil and Edwin gave us a scare when their last game slipped away from a healthy lead, and they had to play the Golden Hoop (13th) decider. After clever tactical play around the 13th, they secured a win to complete the 8-0 result.
Winslow took it in good heart. They are a small club, without even 1 full-size court, but they are determined to find new premises and improve their standard.
