Eynsham Croquet Club was formed in 1996 and played Golf Croquet on a public playing field in Eynsham. In 2004 there was the opportunity to join Eynsham Cricket Club and lease approximately 2 acres that could be dedicated to croquet: see detailed plans.
Two full-sized courts were professionally laid using the latest techniques including laser levelling. Two more full-sized courts have been recovered from the original field and are currently used as 4 half-sized courts.
In addition to the play areas, the Club facilities include secure accommodation for playing equipment, hoops, balls, mallets etc. and the essentials for maintenance. We are fortunate that the Cricket Club allows us access to their Club House and facilities.
