Sewage in our streams (and streets!) 31 Jan 2023 On Saturday 28th January protests took place across the country about dumping of poo by water companies into our rivers.

In Eynsham we have had serious pollution in the overloaded sewerage system leading to actual poo bubbling in our streets.

Yet our MP Robert Courts voted against the recent Environment Bill which would have outlawed this practice. So about 30 of us gathered in Witney to recognise his “contribution” and gave him a Blue Plaque on his office door in Witney.
