At the recent meeting of the Eynsham Branch of the Royal British Legion, a vote was taken to change the status of the branch to County Supported Status.
This means that the branch does not have to continue to have routine bi-monthly meetings and does not hold money.
The Branch will retain the standard, Roger Gascoigne will continue as standard bearer. The requirement for the branch is to have two contacts who liaise with County administration and these will be the Chairman - Mike Stephens, and the Secretary - Eve Hollis.
The Poppy appeal will not be affected and neither will the remembrance Service which will be in the same format as last year.
