A huge “Thank You” to the whole Eynsham Community for supporting the 17 November Concert at The Village Hall to raise funds for The Good Neighbour Network.
The Community Choir, Eynsham Morris, The Chamberries (above) and Ruben Lee-Roles (below) gave outstanding performances and showed just how much talent we have in the village. The full house of just over 125 people had a wonderful evening and made it very clear that they didn’t want the evening to end!
Ticket sales, the raffle and bar sales, together with very generous support from sponsors and donors of raffle prizes, ensured that the evening was also a great financial success. You, the community, raised an astonishing £1,675 for this very good cause.
These funds will help us to continue our work within the community and to ensure that Eynsham Food Bank can continue to meet a rising need for support in these difficult times.
Thanks also to the organising team, so ably led by Kathie Tanner and comprising June Middleton, Fiona Newton, Emma Burgess and Yvonne Middleton. They and their team of helpers made the evening the huge success it was.
