Thank you to everyone who turned out to support our special themed market 'Baking Around Britain' on 24th September. We had a special range of regional recipes on offer including - Anglesey Cakes, Bara Brith, Bakewell Tart, Cornish Fairings, Somerset Apple Cake, Cotswold Sherry Cake, Wensleydale Tart, Cheddar Cheese Straws, Westmorland spiced fruit cake, Cumberland Rum Nicky and many, many more. We even had regionally themed preserves such as Pershore Plum Jam, Devon Cider Apple Chutney and Wensleydale Chutney. We were blessed with fine weather which, combined with Rosemary Munro's harp playing, helped to create a wonderful atmosphere where people could shop and then enjoy a cup of tea or coffee outside the Bartholomew Room.
Our next Saturday market is on 3rd December 9.30am to 12pm which is our Christmas market.
