The ringers are a group of local people of all ages, who like to keep the tradition of church bell ringing going. We have ringers of various levels of competency including beginners and there is always something new to learn. We ring for some church services (at the moment Sunday mornings, 10:00 -10:25) and some special church, village and country occasions. We also ring for weddings and funerals, where requested, for a fee.
Following the lifting of Covid restrictions, some Stanton Harcourt and Cassington ringers have rejoined us for our practice nights on Monday evenings 7:30 till 8:30 (not Bank Holidays). We endeavour to help each other out, when needed.
We have 7 members at present who are registered with the Oxford Diocesan Guild of Bellringers - Witney and Woodstock Branch.
We are always looking for new members of all abilities. Please come along to our Monday evening practice (at the moment 7:30 till 8:30) or Sunday morning ringing.
