Hatha Yoga harmonises the body, mind and emotions through exercises and breath work which each individual does at their own level. As well as developing physical strength and flexibility, yoga prepares the body and mind for meditation which helps counteract stress and boosts the immune system.
naMaSte yoga...
is a therapeutic group for people with MS who wish to practise yoga in a gentle and easy-paced class. Working on the floor or using chairs, we adapt yoga to suit individuals’ needs and capacities. Everyone works at their own pace, according to energy levels on the day. Sessions finish with a relaxation period, using mindfulness techniques to alleviate stress.
