Emily Louisa Sound & Yoga

Emily offers Sound Meditation and Yoga practices at The Music Room, with the hope that you leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Find deep rest, calm, stillness and a way to relieve stress, tension and anxiety through yoga, movement, and sound.

Emily provides an inclusive space that aims to support you in the way you need to get more from your life, build confidence, self-compassion, emotional resilence and connection to yourself.

The yoga classes start with an opening settling, where you will be encouraged to arrive in the space exactly as you are. There is then the invitation to move how your body wants, with guided options for stiffer, restricted or injuried bodies. Moving into stillness to close the class together, integrating the tiny sprinkles of yoga philosophy for the modern world.

Sound meditations start with the option to find a reclined or seated rest position. A guided meditation to settle, leads into the sounds of a variety of instruments, including metal Tibetan Bowls, Crystal singing bowls, gongs, rattles, chimes and the voice. There is also the chance to share hearbal tea and community connection.

Yoga classes are Tuesday evenings 18:15-19:15, £12 per class

A five class pass is available for £50.

Sound meditations are one Tuesday evening (19:30-20:30) and one Sunday morning (17:00-18:30) per month. Prices start at £16.
