On Saturday 14 February Oxford Blues Metal Detecting Club visited the Abbey Fishponds. The 20 finds included 3 Roman coins, a shoe buckle and a cap badge.
The time window for work was limited by frost and snow on one side and new plant growth on the other. Luckily the day went well. The location of each find was carefully recorded and any disturbed ground made good afterwards.
