The last public access facility in Barnard Gate - unless you know better? - was approved for conversion to pair of semi detached dwellings in November 2023 (planning ref. 23/01971/FUL). The proposed south (front) elevation is shown below, with the post box to be removed from the wall and relocated to a roadside pillar. Was the famous collection of boots dispersed?
