Northumbrian smallpipes are much quieter than the better known Highland Bagpipes and much more suitable for playing indoors. We welcome pipers and would-be pipers of all standards and abilities from complete beginners to performers. We have hire sets available for beginners and can provide tuition in Eynsham to get you started - please get in touch for more details. We can also often provide solo performers or groups for events.
As well as ad hoc meetings for beginners in Eynsham, we meet on the third Wednesday of every month (except August) from 7.30 to 9.45 pm in St Margaret's Institute, Polstead Road Oxford OX2 6TW. We also meet there on occasional Sundays through the year in St Margaret's Institute, Polstead Road Oxford OX2 6TW from 13:00 to 16:00.
