About Us

At Heart Mind Body, we believe in a holistic and compassionate approach to emotional and psychological wellbeing. Our practice is rooted in the integration of counselling, psychotherapy, and psychoeducation, offering clients a safe and supportive space to explore their inner world, heal from past wounds, and cultivate resilience. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply seeking deeper self-awareness, our therapeutic services are designed to meet you where you are.

We hold a 'pop-up' clinic in a new therapy space at the Village Hall on Monday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon, and Wednesday evening. To find out more information or book an initial consultation, email jim@heart-mind-body.co.uk

Our founder and lead therapist, Jim Slattery, brings a wealth of experience in integrative psychotherapy, drawing from a range of modalities including person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, and mindfulness-based approaches. Every client is seen as a whole person—mind, heart, and body—and therapy is tailored to suit individual needs, values, and goals.

In addition to one-to-one therapy, we offer psychoeducational resources and workshops that empower clients to better understand their mental health, emotional patterns, and coping strategies. Education is a key pillar of transformation, and we strive to give clients the tools to foster long-term well-being beyond the therapy room.

At Heart Mind Body, we’re committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment where healing and personal growth can flourish. Whether you’re beginning your therapeutic journey or returning to deepen your work, we’re here to support you in aligning your emotional, mental, and physical self.
