EGC was founded in 1981 by people with a broad interest in gardens and gardening, both locally and further afield. New members are welcome and will join an experienced and friendly network.  We hold regular monthly meetings and run a annual plant sale in the Market Square in May.

Meetings have recommenced for 2021, the first was on 11 August and they will continue on the second Wednesday of the month.
