Milly led a lovely tour of the Children’s Food Forest Garden yesterday as part of Great Big Green Week, with Helena from GreenTEA kindly joining to help.
Children and adults explored the garden together, discovering the edible trees, berries, and perennial vegetables growing there — including some of the unusual varieties. There was plenty of berry-tasting along the way, which everyone enjoyed.
One girl even offered to donate a cranberry plant to the garden, which is wonderful. Another visitor kindly offered future help with the garden. Moments like these show just how amazing our community is.
