Oxfordshire County Council plans to provide 500 slow / overnight on-street charging points on public highways by mid 2028. The programme is designed to encourage a switch to electric vehicles by residents who have no private off-street parking, so cannot install charging points themselves. It is funded by central government and charge point operators. Read the press release.
For Eynsham, OCC wants your views on four new spaces dedicated to EV charging ONLY in place of the standard on-street parking spaces on Mill Street west side, immediately north of Conduit Lane. View the map.
Deadline for responses is Friday 7 August at 17:00.
