40th Anniversary – local running Club
Eynsham Runners are celebrating their 40th Anniversary.
The Club prides itself on its welcoming attitude to all runners. Yes we do have County standard runners but we also have many social runners. We run a Wednesday Evening Club run, a session to improve speed on a Tuesday evening and have a long Sunday run. Runners also organise their own social or training groups. If you are new to running we run Couch to 5k to help get you started. If you are training for a marathon and want a training buddy we usually can assist, or if you just want a slow run to a cake shop we are specialists. One of our members recently ran a “virtual” London Marathon around Farmoor Reservoir to raise money for a UK Charity. A team of us accompanied her.

Our celebratory events include runs with a BBQ, a Ceilidh, a day long relay covering our key landmarks i.e. sites of local 10k races, Park runs etc and a relay around the streets of Eynsham
