It has been a busy few weeks getting the clubhouse sorted out.
We started with the foundations and pillars on 9 May, then the platform and decking went in.
The clubhouse was delivered in about 600 pieces all computer cut to the exact dimensions. Building took about 2 weeks from start to finish then our builder returned and installed the stairs and safety rail to the decking. We have been fettling various bits and pieces including the doors and security locks, umbrellas to ensure some shade for spectators and then laying vinyl and transferring equipment from the old shed.
The log cabin was purchased from Dunster House and comes highly recommended, we only had to cut 4 lengths of wood in total.
Overall a great addition to the club. The raised decking has proven to be particularly popular as spectators now have a grandstand view of the courts.
