Bio
My name is Patrick and cooking has been a passion of mine since my teenage years.
I was raised in a close-knit Mediterranean family where home-cooked meals were at the heart of everyday life. Lunch was always served at 12.15 and dinner at 19.15, with every meal freshly prepared using quality ingredients, love and care.
Although I spent the first 20 years of my life in France, my heritage is wonderfully diverse. My mum's family is Sicilian, my dad's family is Maltese, and both sides of the family lived in North Africa before I was born. Growing up, I was fortunate to enjoy a rich blend of French, Sicilian, Tunisian, Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisines, giving me an appreciation for fresh, authentic food from an early age.
Over the past 40 years living in the UK, as well as travelling extensively, my love of cooking has continued to grow. Alongside traditional Mediterranean recipes, I have developed a real passion for classic British cooking and flavours from around the world including Indian, Thai and other Asian cuisines.
Cooking for family members with different dietary needs has also inspired me to create delicious, nutritious meals that everyone can enjoy. Whether vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, I believe great food should never compromise on flavour.
Alongside my love of food, I have spent my professional life helping people improve their health and wellbeing as a chiropractor, coach and therapist. That experience has reinforced my belief that good food is one of the foundations of a healthy, happy life.
Now I'd love to share that passion with you. Whether you're looking for traditional family favourites, healthy meal ideas or dishes inspired by my Mediterranean roots and travels, I hope to inspire you to enjoy cooking as much as I do.
