Applications for people under 18 should be made by a parent or guardian. Write to the Clerk with full details of the person the grant is requested for (name, age, what you need the grant for, what cost is involved, etc.). Applications can be accepted by hand or by post (in which case please supply an email address if possible), or by email.
If you are an apprentice or trainee, send a list of tools, books, instruments etc with their prices and a note of when you expect to start your training.
The trustees meet four times a year, usually in February, May, August or September and November. They will consider your application and will be in touch with you as soon as possible afterwards.
Please send in your application the month before the next meeting if you can.
