We're a local independent charity working in the community to support older people, their families and carers. We want everyone to be able to live life to the full.
We offer a weekly Strength and Balance Exercise Class,on a Wednesday between 10:00-11:00am, at the Village Hall.
The class is a combination of seated and standing exercise and can enable participants to maintain health, mobility, and independence, to keep doing what they love for longer. Being active is also a great way to boost energy levels and general wellbeing.
The strength and resistance exercises are beneficial for muscle, bone and joint health, and help to make everyday tasks easier. The balance exercises will improve posture, give greater confidence and help reduce risk of falls.
The class is flexible so participants can attend as and when they are available, there is no need to commit to every week.
Your first session is a taster session and therefore free of charge. If after you would like to take part in the class regularly, it is a £5 fee per class.
