On the crisp early evening of 13th January, the choir joined well over a hundred people at the Peace Oak's annual wassailing event. In front of the open fire - warming cauldrons of mulled cider and apple juice, as well as people - we sang four wassailing songs from different parts of the country, before joining in with the Morris Men and friends of the Peace Oak in the ancient noise-making ceremony to ensure a good apple harvest. Great fun was had all round, despite the chill in the air!
