'We are introducing bookings to help reduce queues and make visits quicker and easier', says Oxfordshire County Council.
You can book a slot online up to two weeks in advance, or up to 30 minutes before your visit, subject to availability. For asbestos (household only), you must book at least 48 hours in advance. Each slot is 15 minutes for cyclists and car drivers, 30 minutes for vans or cars towing a trailer. Read more >>
If you cannot book online, you can call the customer service centre on 01865 519800, open 08:45-17:00, Monday-Thursday and 08:45-16:00 on Friday.
On the day of your visit, you must also bring proof of address (there is a charge for non-Oxfordshire residents).
All visitors are asked to sort their recycling in advance. The Waste Wizard may be helpful here.
