Eynsham Carnival is one of our village’s most loved traditions, and as we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to share some great news! We’re welcoming four new board members to the Carnival team
That said, we’re still looking to fill two key volunteer roles to help ensure the Carnival continues to run smoothly and safely.
Administration Role
This is an important behind-the-scenes role that supports the foundations of the Carnival. Responsibilities include handling legal paperwork, organising road closures, and helping prepare safety documentation. While it sounds formal, you won’t be thrown in at the deep end! There will be plenty of guidance, support, and opportunities to shadow experienced members of the team.
Operations Role
This role focuses on the practical planning that makes Carnival Day happen. You’ll help coordinate parking, facilities, and equipment ahead of the event. It’s a largely administrative position that mainly involves sending emails and keeping things organised — ideal for someone who enjoys planning without needing to be on the ground on the day.
Volunteers are absolutely essential to keeping Eynsham Carnival going year after year. By joining the team, you’ll become part of a friendly, supportive group of people who care deeply about keeping Eynsham’s best tradition alive and thriving.
