Rotary Club of Eynsham and District would like to thank all who gave so generously to the Rotary Santa and his Elves as they toured the village and visited the primary schools in Standlake, Cassington, Freeland, Hanborough and Eynsham.
We were pleased to support the Eynsham Lights On event which, despite the horrible weather, saw a good turn out and a lovely atmosphere. The pouring rain stopped just in time!
The money collected will be put to good use in and around Eynsham as well as supporting some of the most urgent aid requirements around the world.
Recently we have supported The Nook in Eynsham (https://thenookoxfordshire.com) and Shelterbox, a charity started by a Rotarian, that responds to global disasters. (https://shelterbox.org)
Quite apart from the collection, the smiling faces of children and adults alike showed that Santa’s presence was much appreciated by all.
