Help EFB to Carry on Helping! 25 Nov 2024 If you have more than you need this festive season, please help Eynsham Food Bank to carry on helping in 2025

Thanks to the generosity of the Eynsham Community, for the past 4 years we have been able to make Christmas a little merrier for the 50+ families supported by Eynsham Food Bank with Christmas food parcels, Eynsham Vouchers and children’s gifts.

In 2024, we still have enough funds left in the Christmas kitty to give each of these households a gift card to help cover the cost of festive foods or gifts, but this year we must prioritise more basic fundraising needs. Quite simply, we need your help to keep the Eynsham Food Bank going in 2025.

If you have more than you need this Christmas, we invite you to help by:

  • making a donation to our Christmas appeal to help keep the Food Bank afloat this year.
  • dropping a festive food donation into the collection basket at Co-op, Spar, The Market Garden or Tesco BEFORE WEDNESDAY 11 DECEMBER. This could be a Christmas pudding, a tub of Quality Street, a box of mince pies, a jar of Pringles, a Yule Log, or whatever festive food you think makes Christmas special.

You can also make a monthly donation by standing order. Call or text Bob Thiele on 07450 328 530 for further details. All money raised will go to Eynsham Good Neighbour Network, which oversees the funding of Eynsham Food Bank (operated out of Eynsham Baptist Church by a team of community volunteers).

Thanks in advance for your generosity.
