Christian Aid Week regular collection from 10-16 May is suspended but a virtual week is going ahead!

District Council recycling banks in Back Lane car park closed last month in response to persistent fly-tipping but full kerbside collection continues.

Bulky household waste can be collected for a modest charge... and Facebook will rehome the most amazing things for free.

Viral Kindness

Eynsham Good Neighbour Network still offers practical help with support from the Covid-19 volunteers.

Eynsham residents have funded a food bank to support local people and families in difficulties caused by Covid-19. For enquiries or assistance please call Bob Thiele: 07738 063083.

Nancy Jenkins lost her husband recently and was remembering their wedding anniversary when Age Concern arranged a visit. But she opened the door to another special visitor: David Beckham, with a tote bag full of thoughtful treats packed by his family. So what began as quite a sad day turned into a very memorable one.

Sue Harverson writes… ‘[With] so many offers of help, there is no need to feel alone in these scary times. When I clap for the NHS and Carers on Thursday night, I am also applauding the local volunteers, the staff in our shops, bin collectors, delivery drivers and more. They are all helping to keep Eynsham safe’.
