Cllr Ashton, Executive Member for Planning, explains how we might respond to the government target of increasing housing stock by a third in the timeframe.

The consultation considers four main issues –

• extending the plan period to 2043
• a revised settlement hierarchy, with a clearer grouping of towns and villages
• a revised spatial strategy for existing allocations. including Salt Cross Garden Village and West Eynsham
• potential locations for future housing and employment development.
