Choral Society Concert 5 Apr 2025 19:30 - 21:30 at St Leonard's Church

Eynsham Choral Society's spring concert will be Dvorak's major sacred work -Stabat Mater.  The piece was written in 1876-77 and is based on a 13th century text attributed to Jacopone da Todi: There stood the sorrowful mother, by the cross, weeping.

The Oxford Players orchestra and four soloists will join Eynsham Choral Society for the concert, and we hope that you will be able to come and hear this lovely music.
