Forest Bathing, also know as Shinrin-Yoku, from the Japanese, offers an antidote to our busy and stress filled lives! We take time out to drop in and connect with Nature purposefully, in the present moment, by focusing on the senses and the surrounding Nature, deepening our awareness and noticing what we experience.
No showering or bathing involved! Even a Forest is not needed. Forest Bathing is really about immersing ourselves in the Natural World wherever we find ourselves. You can enjoy the proven benefits of being in Nature under the beautiful Peace Oak in the Orchard, such as boosting the immune system and experiencing deep relaxation.
The Peace Oak Orchard offers us a beautiful quiet setting in the middle of the village to explore and connect. There are trees, fruit and vegetables, vines and a beautiful pond, all teeming with life.
The session will include awakening the senses, a mediation walk, finding a ‘sit spot’ where you feel drawn to, and having the opportunity to reflect, journal and share if you wish.
