We are looking for people living or working in Eynsham who are seeking a fulfilling and rewarding part-time job that really makes a difference.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service provides emergency cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year throughout the county.

Crews from the 24 Oxfordshire stations respond to calls for assistance at fires, car crashes and other incidents that threaten life or our environment. Each fire station relies on retained fire-fighters, women and men who live or work in the local area and who are able to respond to calls from help at a moment’s notice, working with a dedicated team of professionals serving the community.

  • Help your community in a direct and practical way.
  • Become trained to a high standard as an emergency services professional and be given the opportunity to lead teams in challenging situations.
  • Reap the rewards of working in a team - it's fulfilling working for the Fire and Rescue Service.

This is not a voluntary job; you will be paid for your service.

For further information on what it means to be a Retained Fire-fighter, and to ask any questions you may have, please contact our watch manager at Eynsham Fire Station.
