Summer Vibes at Eynsham Cricket Club 1 Apr 2026 (Eynsham Cricket Club) Your local field of dreams. The floods have receded, the kit is out and the sun is ready to shine! Summer at Eynsham CC in 2026

Summer Vibes at Eynsham Cricket Club - your local field of dreams.

The floods have receded, the kit is out, and the sun is ready to shine! There is truly nothing better than a summer afternoon at Eynsham Cricket Club (ECC). Whether you’re looking to sharpen your cover drive or simply find the best spot in the village for a cold drink and a sunset, ECC is the place to be.

A Thriving Scene for Women & Girls

Our Women’s section is booming, and we want you to be a part of it. Never picked up a bat? No problem! We provide the coaching and the kit; you just bring the enthusiasm.. We practise on Friday evenings at the club during the summer (and keep the momentum going at Bartholomew Sports Hall in winter).

From casual social cricket in our beautiful surroundings to serious competition in the Home Counties Women’s Cricket League, there’s a spot for every level. We’re a supportive and friendly group who love the game — and we love our post-match drinks at the bar even more!

The Next Generation: Junior Cricket supported by MKC Wealth & Meech

Junior cricket is absolutely buoyant and growing at ECC, and we are delighted to have Meech MKC Wealth on board as our Junior Section sponsors this year. Friday nights are the highlight of the week, featuring:

ECB All Stars (ages 5 - 8) and Dynamos (ages 8 - 10).
Coaching & League Play for U11, U13, U15, and U17 squads.
A Winning Spirit: Our U15 girls were 2025 County Finalists, and the U13s were hot on their heels!

Adult Cricket: Driven by Living With The Lions

The Adult section is gearing up for a massive 2026, proudly supported by our new sponsors, Living With The Lions. With two teams in the Cherwell League (Tiers 6 and 7) both eyeing promotion, we are looking for new players to help us over the line.

Whether you’re a specialist bat, a pace bowler, or a clinical fielder, you’ll find a warm welcome. Outdoor nets kick off on Wednesday evenings this April. Prefer a more relaxed pace? Our active Friendly Side plays on Sundays (including matches at the stunning Blenheim Palace) and midweek.

More Than Just a Match: Your Social Hub

You don’t have to play cricket to love ECC. For many in the village, Friday nights at School Piece are the ultimate start to the weekend. While the juniors are busy on the pitch, there is wonderful space for everyone else to relax and enjoy the evening sunshine. The bar is always stocked, the BBQ will be fired up, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Come and join us and be part of a wonderful, friendly club.

Where to find us: School Piece, Cassington Road.
