Artists put on a village-wide show! 30 Apr 2026 (Jane Tomlinson) A breathtaking variety of art will be on show 9-17 May when Eynsham’s artists open their doors for Artweeks 2026.

Eynsham’s artists on display for Artweeks in May

From 9 to 17 May, a truly breathtaking variety of art will be on show when Eynsham’s painters and potters, jewellers and sculptors open their homes and studios for Artweeks, Oxfordshire’s annual visual arts festival.

Head over to Twelve Acre Farm to experience Alison Berrett’s extraordinarily colourful paintings evoking landscapes and skies.

At Mill Street Arts, painters Jane Tomlinson, her brother Paul Tomlinson are joined by painter Julie Sailing-Free and photographer Neil Mason. Expect glorious compositions of colour and contrast: townscapes, birds, florals, and maps.

Nearby, from his home on Mill Street, painter Eric White’s jaw-dropping landscapes in pastels will blow you away. It’s his 34th Artweeks!

Just over from Eric in John Lopes Road, Rachel Yuen will be showing her gorgeous textiles and quilts in Artweeks for the very first time.

And on Thames Street, also for their first Artweeks, husband and wife Lauren Tucker and Davide Barbero will be showing their ceramics and paintings inspired by everyday life.

The 12 potters at the Old Forge Pottery on Newland Street have so much to show you: wheel-thrown stoneware and porcelain, mugs, bowls, jugs, teapots, tiles and hand-built items.

Just off Queen Street, in Tanners Lane, potter Alison Holmans, well-known for her functional ceramics and quirky animal figures, is this year joined by Serra Malta who creates sparkling sculptural silver jewellery.

In Queen’s Lane, visit potter Philippa Norris to see her beautiful blue and white porcelains.

Finally, pop into the Queen’s Head on Queen Street for a refreshing drink and to admire Peter Shrimpton’s large-scale heavy metal sculpture displayed in the pub garden.

Here's a handy map to guide you.

The artists can’t wait to meet you!

Visit artweeks.org for more info and opening times (everyone will be open at the weekends). Appointments are not necessary.

Make a day of it and bring your friends and family. And it's all FREE!
