Huge thanks to Eynsham Parish Council who have kindly provided us with a grant of £345 for a bat detector which is being used to carry out our monthly bat surveys on two carefully mapped transects in and around Long Mead and by the Wharf Stream Way.
Surveying is crucial to gain an understanding of the local baseline population so we can monitor and protect them.
Nature Recovery Network surveys bring together experts and members of the local community with the aim of training and sharing knowledge and expertise.
The next is this Friday 4th July in the evening. Bat monitors will be provided.
Participant spaces are limited to ensure good data collection and you must register to attend.
The next provisional survey dates are 1st August, 5th September and 3rd October
