This is not intended to be comprehensive - it is a quick guide to help you find a few things in the night sky without any equipment - just your eyes.
All of these are very bright and easy to find when walking around the village.
The planets - lots to see this month!
Mercury is very low in the E rising at sunrise at 4:30am at the beginning of the month and at 3am at the end of the month.
Venus - The brightest object in the sky, after the (Sun and the Moon) - in beginning of the month rises at 4:30am in the East and 3:30am at the end of the month.
Saturn rises at 5am in the East and at 3:00pm towards the end of the month.
Mars is high in the SW at sunset 9:30pm and sets in the West – and rises at 10pm at the end of the month.
Jupiter is very bright. At sunset in the west at the beginning of the month but it is too low by the middle of the month.
The full Moon is on the 12th and rises at sunset about 9:30pm in the E.
There is a very bright International Space Station passes (ISS) on the 5th at 7:08pm.
Look out for the Quadriids meteor shower on the 5th / 6th. You could see up to 60 an hour. Give you eyes 30 minutes to adjust to the dark.
Look out for the Spring Triangle.
