4. Early April 2022 – Trees with Character

During March, before the leaves were back on the trees, I took a few photos of trees north of the A40 that particularly grabbed my attention. Here are some of them.

The "Angry Ent" one reminded me of a poem called:

               Tolkienesque Terrain

Route out of Oxford, westward to Gloucestershire,

   takes you to farmland, toll bridge and villages,

       skirting the round wide hill at Wytham –

           surely the seed of a hobbit saga.
