After such a long period of uncertainty, we were delighted to welcome our Day Centre members back to the Village Hall on Monday. Judging by the smiles on their faces, they were very happy to be together again. The coffee morning was well attended and was preceded by many hours work from Karen, and the volunteers, to make the area safe and secure.
Another coffee morning is scheduled for Monday 20 September (1000-1100); there is no charge so please come along and say hello. The following week, on Monday 27 September, we will be resuming our full service (1000-1430, including a delicious lunch) - usual charge will apply (ie £8 or £12 for a couple).
We are so pleased to be up and running again - we encourage any of the more mature members of our community to consider joining our happy Club. We are always glad to hear from people who might like to volunteer... It's such rewarding work and our efforts are always appreciated by the members. See you at the Day Centre soon!
