‘Thank you Eynsham for the lovely reception I had cycling round the village on Saturday. In lieu of no carnival or indeed shirt race, my aim was to bring a little normality (and sweets) to the children. Usually I don't have time to get round the whole village as I must set the race off, but I thoroughly enjoyed talking to so many people, and hearing stories of Bill, the original Starter Upper. I really did feel the love. It was an absolute pleasure. See you all next time.’
