Henry Albert Howe was village chemist, stationer, and postmaster from 1895 at 20 Acre End Street, now the home of Oxford Mac.
He also produced many postcards using his own photographs of the village. The story of Eynsham’s postal history is recounted in Eynsham Record 8 (1991), pages 10-17.
