We are a convivial group that feels some hope can be offered from sharing words, ideas, and memories to be found in texts of all kinds -  writers who inspire, challenge, surprise, amuse.

You are invited to bring a short text - up to 500 words - to share.  Each meeting we also suggest a theme, but these are entirely optional, and you can interpret the theme any way you like, or not at all.  

 We make sure everyone who joins us has a chance to read their text.  But you are equally welcome to come just to listen.

We meet in the Red Lion bar at 5.0.  The exchange itself is 5.30 to 7.0 in the Red Lion meeting room. After that, a few of us stay to eat at the excellent Red Lion restaurant.
