ROAD CLOSURE: A40 to / from B4022 Eynsham Village

Following the successful completion of the enabling works, the main construction for the Access to Witney (Shores Green) project has now begun officially.

The enabling works, which started in February, focused on mobilising the construction team, setting up the site compound, discharging relevant planning conditions and completing utility diversions.

From Monday 7 July, there will be a five-day night-time closure affecting the entry and exit slip roads to and from the A40 on the B4022.

The closure will be in operation between 8pm and 6am every night.

This closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of additional street lighting, new pedestrian crossings and drainage improvements.

Lower Road / A4095 via Long Hanborough may be easier!
