We welcome you back to the PIlgrims of Hope poetry exchange after the summer break, and hope you return refreshed and with ideas to share.
Our optional theme for the session is autumn: your own response to "the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness".Bring any text you would like, up to 250 words. It can be prose, poem - or prose poem, and this could be by an author who inspires or intrigues you, or your own work. If you would like to bring copies, that is always welcome, but is not required. Our aim is to listen carefully to one another.
Our sessions begin at 5.0 pm. with an informal drink at the Red Lion bar for whoever would like to join us.
5.30 to 7.0 pm we reconvene to the function room at the back of the pub to share readings.
7.0 pm. There is the option of staying for a meal at the pub afterwards.
We look forward to the start of the new season and welcoming you back to pilgrims of hope.
