Following consultation in June 2025, they have drafted a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) to help achieve this. Consultation closes on Monday 27 October View the Draft LCWIP | Have Your Say The list of proposed improvements includes new cycleways to Botley and Hanborough. The High Street / Mill Street / Acre End corner is listed as a 'complimentary' (sic) project. Traffic-free routes following existing bridleways to Freeland and Stanton Harcourt are also suggested, using “environmentally conscious unbound paving”.
