DESCRIPTION:\n	We will be reconveing after a break and warmly invite you to join us for our first poetry exchange of the year on Feb 25th.   The theme is Praise poem - and you can interpret this any way you like, or not at all.  You can simply use the space to thank, or appreciate, or appreciatively observe, either with a text of your own or one you would like to share. \n\n	As a delightful example, and possibly inspiration, here is one of Pablo Neruda's Odes to Common Things, in praise of an onion.\n\n	From ‘Ode to the onion’\n\n	 \n\n	Generously\n\n	you give up\n\n	your balloon of freshness\n\n	to the boiling consummation\n\n	of the pot,\n\n	and in the blazing heat of the oil\n\n	the shred of crystal\n\n	is transformed into a curled feather of gold.\n
